摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid electric vehicle capable of reliably securing SOC of a battery at a time point of arrival to a destination, and of thus preventing nuisance by noise to the circumference by performing motor travel of high quiet performance at the destination. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid electric vehicle is mounted with a high output battery 16 emphasizing output securement for an electric motor 2 and a high capacity battery 17 of high energy density suitable for long-term drive of the electric motor 2. On the basis of SOC of the high capacity battery 17, it is determined whether home delivery can be completed at the destination by motor travel by the high capacity battery 17 (step S8). If the home delivery can be completed, while the motor travel is continued in the EV mode as far as possible (step S12), a HEV charging mode is executed properly if SOC of the high capacity battery 17 is insufficient to charge the high capacity battery 17 (step S16), thereby securing SOC of the high capacity battery 17 at the time point of entry of the vehicle into the home delivery district. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
