<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device with capability of improved color reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes: a solid light source 5 which emits light with a predetermined wavelength out of a wavelength region from ultraviolet light to visible light; and a phosphor section 12 which, excited by excitation light from the solid light source 5, emits fluorescence with a longer wavelength than an emission wavelength of the solid light source 5 when light from the solid light source 5 is incident as excitation light. The phosphor section 12 is formed of a plurality of fluorescent materials, and on an incident surface side of the excitation light from the solid light source 5, a fluorescent material 8 with a fluorescence lifetime of 10 ns or more and less than 100 ns is arranged. On the opposite side of the fluorescent material 8 arranged on the light incident side of excitation light from the solid light source 5 with the fluorescence lifetime of 10 ns or more and less than 100 ns, a fluorescent material 9 with a fluorescence lifetime of 100 ns or more and 1,000 ns or less is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
