<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio system capable of monitoring abnormality while maintaining an operation state of a radio transmitting-receiving section and switching from an active system to a standby system having high reliability in the event of a failure of the active system. <P>SOLUTION: A radio transmitting-receiving section 2 includes: a plurality of transmitting-receiving sections 4a to 4n that can be switched between an active system and a standby system for use; and transmitting-receiving section switching means 5 for selectively switching and connecting the transmitting-receiving sections 4a to 4n. The radio system includes: signal switching means 8 that can select one of the transmitting-receiving sections 4a to 4n in order to give a test signal for performing abnormality monitoring for each of the transmitting-receiving sections 4a to 4n, the test signal being generated at a test signal generation section 7, to the selected transmitting-receiving section; a transmitting-receiving section control unit 9 for controlling an active transmitting-receiving section 4a in order to form a test transmission line therein when the test signals generated at the test signal generation section 7 is given; an abnormality monitoring unit 10 for performing abnormality monitoring for each of the transmitting/receiving sections 4a to 4n using the test signal; and a maintenance control unit 11 for controlling the transmitting-receiving section switching means 5 in order to select a sound section as an active system based on a result of the abnormality monitoring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
