<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in operation rate of an apparatus even when jamming of a bill, a cause for occurrence of which cannot be eliminated, occurred at a transportation path of the bill. <P>SOLUTION: A bill handling apparatus is provided with bill-jamming detection means 222 to detect jamming of a bill transported by a bill transportation path 22, automatic recovery means to eliminate an occurrence cause for the jamming of the bill detected by the bill-jamming detection means 222, and plural bill storages connected to plural branches 220 formed on the bill transportation path 22 via branch paths 221. The bill handling apparatus is further provided with a controller to limits execution of receiving and payment processing passing between the branches where the jamming of the bill occurred, when the automatic recovery means cannot eliminate the occurrence cause for the jamming of the bill occurred between the branches of the bill transportation path 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
