<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical dust cover for a disk brake device mounted on the wheel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The dust cover 30 has a plurality of projections 36 provided on a face opposed to a disk rotor 16 at intervals in the circumferential direction. Each projection is formed to obliquely extend in the radial direction of the disk rotor, from an edge 38 on the center side to an edge 40 on an outer circumferential side, or each projection has a center-side extending portion and an outer circumferential-side extending portion, which are inclined forward in the rotation direction of the disk rotor with respect to the radial direction of the disk rotor and are extended from a position between the center-side edge and the outer circumferential edge of the dust cover to reach the center-side edge and the outer circumferential edge, respectively. When an air flow is induced by rotation of the disk rotor, air is discharged by the projections from the edge of the disk rotor to the outside. In the downstream side of the projection, air is agitated to produce a negative pressure state, and thus, outer air introduced therein.
