<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which can connect a female spline of a worm shaft and a female spline of a motor output shaft with an oldham joint allowing angle deflection and eccentricity interposed therebetween, and which can shorten the length in the axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: A columnar power transmission member 51 which connects the output shaft 292 and the worm shaft 23 comprises three pieces of parts of an output-shaft side connecting member 52, a worm-side connecting member 53 and an intermediate member 54. A first slide pair is arranged at a connecting part between the left-end side of the intermediate member 54 and the right-end side of the output-shaft side connecting member 52. A second slide pair is arranged at a connecting part between the right-end side of the intermediate member 54 and the left-end side of the worm-side connecting member 53.
