<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate drive circuit that can appropriately transfer a gate drive signal by means of a power transformer. <P>SOLUTION: A gate drive circuit 1 for insulation-transferring a gate drive signal by means of a power transformer 2 includes: a timing generation section 4 for generating a drive timing of primary voltage; a transformer drive circuit section 3 outputting a primary voltage according to the drive timing; and a pattern detection section 6 and a flip-flop circuit section 8 for detecting the gate drive signal through a pattern signal included in a secondary voltage. The timing generation section 4 generates the drive timing such that the gate drive signal is delayed by a time T1, inversion of a primary voltage V<SB POS="POST">T1</SB>is prohibited for the time T1 from an inversion timing of the gate drive signal, and a pattern signal having pulsed inversions of time widths T2, T3 shorter than the time T1 just after the time T1 in response to the gate drive signal is included in the primary voltage V<SB POS="POST">T1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
