<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve learning efficiency of educational material text as compared with the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic dictionary 1 comprises: a display unit 40; a flash ROM 80 for storing text data of teaching material text 830; a teaching material guide table 840 for storing a plurality of words contained in the teaching material text 830 by associating the words with either of the two categories which are words for reading comprehension and words for writing studies; an input unit 30 for specifying a letter string in the teaching material text 830 as a marker display letter string on the basis of user operation; and a CPU 20 which displays the words associated with the category of words for reading comprehension by the teaching material guide table 840 and the words associated with the category of words for writing studies, out of words contained in marker display letter strings in the displayed text, with markers in different display forms, when the teaching material text 830 is displayed on the display unit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
