<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge controller and a charge control method capable of charging a plurality of battery modules simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: The charge controller comprises: a plurality of battery packs each incorporating a secondary battery; one or more power input units for inputting electric power; a power integration unit for integrating the electric power input from the one or more power input units into one; a main control unit which measures the electric energy of the power input to the power integration unit and, based on the measured electric energy, determines the amount of power supplied from the power integration unit to each of the battery packs to control the simultaneous charging to the plurality of battery packs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
