<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact sunroof device with a front panel and a rear panel for closing a roof opening in which a slider connecting mechanism interlockingly connecting a front slider operating the front panel and a rear slider operating the rear panel can be composed of a small number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A connecting arm 75 is pivotally supported by the rear slider 74 in a swingable manner. The connecting arm 75 is provided with a stopper 100 to be fit in a locking hole 101 formed in a guide rail 13 for regulating back and forth movement of the rear slider 74. The front slider 30 is provided with a connecting pin 71, and the connecting arm 75 is provided with a connection cam groove 96. The front slider 30 moves backward and the connecting pin 71 is engaged with the connection cam groove 96. Thus the connecting arm 75 swings and the stopper 100 is released out of the locking hole 101 to allow the rear slider 74 to move back and forth in conjunction with the front slider 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
