<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience by enabling call origination at a call request even at a call origination/termination OFF mode. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication device includes: a transmitter/receiver unit 51 for data communication with other equipment, capable of setting a communication OFF mode; and a system control unit 57 for controlling the transmitter/receiver unit 51 not to communicate with the other equipment when the communication OFF mode is set, without making an audio encoder/decoder 53 suspend voice data reproduction, and to cancel the communication OFF mode, so as to originate a call to a prescribed telephone number when a call request is issued to the telephone number during the communication OFF mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
