<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection function for a wavelength multiplexed transmission device which divides high-speed signals into low-speed signals before transmitting them, which, even when an operational and a non-operational system have different paths, can suppress occurrence of a problem that client signals cannot each be multiplexed from low-speed to high-speed signals normally. <P>SOLUTION: An optical wavelength multiplexed transmission device of the present invention works in such a way that each signal separated by wavelength from the respective WDM signals of one and the same signal per client which has been transmitted along a plurality of different paths are selectively received per client signal and then time-division multiplexed, in which case, if a fault occurs in one of signals separated by wavelength from the WDM signals, signals separated by wavelength from a WDM signal which has been transmitted along a different path than the wavelength-separated signal in error are received per client signal and then time-division multiplexed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
