<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a vibration type actuator capable of controlling the frequency of applied voltage highly accurately following changes of friction force, environmental change, and changes of frequency response characteristic due to individual difference. <P>SOLUTION: A controller of a vibration type actuator has: alternating voltage generating means 8 capable of setting at least one parameter of frequency, amplitude and phase in alternating voltage for applying vibrating force to a vibrator; measurement means 9 for measuring several physical quantities caused by vibration of the vibrator; change applying means for giving a prescribed change to at least one parameter in alternating voltage; frequency response characteristic measurement means 10 for obtaining a frequency response characteristic according to at least one prescribed frequency between a first signal in response to a change and a second signal in response to the measured physical quantity; and frequency control means for controlling the frequency of alternating voltage according to the frequency response characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
