<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a safe and efficient waste battery processing method which can sort waste batteries by prescribed shape or size and also can process them in large quantity, a small-sized and compact waste battery sorting machine, and a waste battery processing apparatus which can process a large amount of waste batteries for reuse or disposal. <P>SOLUTION: A waste battery sorting machine S1 includes a plurality of cylindrical bodies 110a, 110b and 110c disposed in a horizontal posture from the inside toward the outside in order. The plurality of cylindrical bodies each have formed on the barrel wall thereof passage holes 113a, 113b and 113c, differing in size from each other, which sort waste batteries by letting or not letting them pass through. The passage holes of the cylindrical bodies disposed on the inside are set to be wider than those disposed on the outside, so that as the plurality of cylindrical bodies rotate, the waste batteries are sorted by their shape or size before being ejected from respective outlets 117a, 117b and 117c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
