<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing the volume of cotton. <P>SOLUTION: The following component (a) is applied to cotton to increase the volume of cotton. Component (a): organopolysiloxane obtained by bonding a poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) segment (hereinafter called as a segment (a2)) composed of a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) (where R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group having 1 to 22 carbon atoms, and n represents 2 or 3), to at least two silicon atoms of an organopolysiloxane segment (hereinafter called as a segment (a1)) constituting a main chain via an alkylene group containing a heteroatom. The mass ratio (a1/a2) of the mass of the segment (a1) in the component (a) to the total mass of the segment (a2) in the component (a) is 65/35 to 80/20, the segment (a1) has a weight average molecular weight of 15,000 to 80,000, and the segment (a2) has a number average molecular weight of 800 to 4000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
