<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector and a contact for use therein which satisfactorily maintain impedance matching with a mating connector by suppressing changes in contact impedance. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 100 comprises: a first housing 110; a second housing 120; and contacts 130. The contacts 130 each have a first holdable portion 131 held by the first housing 110, a second holdable portion 132 held by the second housing 120, and a spring portion 133 formed between the first holdable portion 131 and the second holdable portion 132. The spring portion 133 comprises: at least two spring pieces 133a; and a slit 133b formed between the spring pieces 133a and extended in the direction of the second holdable portion 132 from the first holdable portion 131, and has at least one coupling portion 140 coupling the spring pieces 133a together in the slit 133b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
