NOISE SUPPRESSOR FOR AIR INTRODUCTION PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reduce noises which are line-spectral and the peak frequency of which appears at constant intervals over a wide band.

SOLUTION: One opening 2 of a pipe conduit 4 is connected to a noise source 90. A silencer type silencer 10 is provided at a distance λ1/4 from the other opening 3 toward the opening 2 of the pipe conduit 4. A silencer type silencer 20 is provided at a distance λ2/4 from the opening 3 toward the opening 2 of the pipe conduit 4. A silencer type silencer 30 is provided at a distance λ3/4 from the opening 3 toward the opening 2 of the pipe conduit 4. An expansion type silencer 40 is provided between the silencer 30 and the opening 3 in the pipe conduit 4.
