PURPOSE: A walking guide robot and a walking guiding method using the same are provided to guide the walking of pedestrians by being installed in the both sides of pedestrian crosses. CONSTITUTION: A walking guide robot(100) comprises a driving unit(10), a power supply unit(20), an image acquisition unit(30), a display unit(40), a voice guide unit(50), and an operating control unit(60). The driving unit drives the robot in all directions. The power supply unit includes a chargeable battery through external power. The image acquisition unit acquires video about external risk factors. The display unit displays acquired video. The voice guide unit guides the possibility of walking and external risk factors by voice. The operating control unit controls the display unit and the voice guide unit.
