CONTINUOUS COATING SYSTEM AND PROCESS USING ULTRAVIOLET CURING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A coating apparatus and a method for the same are provided to respond to the width change of a material to be coated by using the automatic flickering system of an ultraviolet ray-based lamp. CONSTITUTION: A coating apparatus includes a coating part(10), a pre-heating part(20), and an ultraviolet ray irradiating part(30). The coating part applies an ultraviolet ray curable coating solution to a steel material. The pre-heating part pre-heats the ultraviolet ray curable coating solution applied on the coating part. The ultraviolet ray irradiating part includes an ultraviolet ray-based lamp and cures the pre-heated ultraviolet ray curable coating solution. The pre-heating part is a near infrared ray irradiator, a hot air blower, or an inductive heater.
