摘要 PURPOSE: A magnesium alloy having dense surface structure and a surface treatment method thereof are provided to prevent exterior defects, plating process faults, and salt water resistance faults by forming the surface structure of the magnesium alloy through alkaline treatment processes. CONSTITUTION: A magnesium alloy comprises a magnesium alloy layer, a dense surface layer, and a coating layer. The surface of the magnesium alloy layer is polished. The dense surface layer is formed on the magnesium alloy layer. The dense surface layer contains Si. The coating layer is formed on the dense surface layer. The thickness of the dense surface layer is 50 to 150nm. The coating layer is formed into two or more layers by using coating materials.
