PURPOSE: A mirror and display device and an operating method thereof are provided to function as a mirror which reflects external light and function as a display device which displays specific information or a specific image. CONSTITUTION: A reflective polarization film(200) is located on a display panel(100). A liquid crystal panel(300) is located on the reflective polarization film. A polarization plate(400) is located on the liquid crystal panel. A control unit applies a driving voltage corresponding to strength of light, which is sensed by controlling a liquid crystal panel driving unit, to the liquid crystal panel when a mirror and display device is in a mirror mode. |
