PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and an inspection method thereof are provided to apply an inspection signal to a LOG wire using a dummy pad even though an inspection pad is damaged due to an inspection signal of a large current and a high voltage. CONSTITUTION: A gate driving unit and a LOG(Line One Glass) wire(140) are formed on a non display area(101) of a TFT array substrate. An inspection area(105) of the TFT array substrate is located on the outermost of the non display area. An inspection pad(120) is formed on the inspection area. The inspection pad provides an inspection signal for checking whether the LOG wire is disconnected to the LOG wire. A dummy pad(130) is electrically connected to the LOG wire.
