SEPARATION MEMBRANE SUPPORT, THE METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, SEPARATION MEMBRANE SHEET, AND MEMBRANE SEPARATION ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation membrane support comprising nonwoven fabric, having excellent film-forming property and high mechanical strength when supporting a separation membrane such as a precise filter membrane, an ultrafilter membrane, a nano-filter membrane, and a reverse osmosis membrane, and further contributing to enhancing the performance of the separation membrane; and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The separation membrane support is constituted by forming a membrane having a separation function on the surface of the same and is characterized by comprising the nonwoven fabric having hydrophilicity.
