<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having a large amount of displacement by providing an electrode having high conductivity and durability against drive deformation. <P>SOLUTION: An actuator is provided, having a pair of electrodes disposed so as to face each other and an intermediate layer having an electrolyte disposed between the pair of electrodes, the actuator being deformed by applying a voltage to the pair of electrodes, in which at least one of the pair of electrodes has a first conductive material, and has a porous structure having conductivity, and a second conductive material and the electrolyte for filling holes in the porous structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
