摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film drying furnace efficiently continuously heating and drying a coating film by concentrically radiating near infrared rays toward a workpiece, the near infrared rays having excellent capability to cut hydrogen bonding between molecules, while suppressing an increase in temperature in the furnace. <P>SOLUTION: This coating film drying furnace dries the coating film while making the coating film travel in a furnace body, the coating film being an electrode coating film for a lithium ion battery, having absorption spectra of an electromagnetic wave of 3.5 &mu;m or less, and having the hydrogen bonding. An infrared heater 11 disposed inside of the furnace body 10 has a structure such that the periphery of a filament 12 is concentrically covered with tubes 13, 14 functioning as low-pass filters and a fluid flow passage is formed in a portion 16 between the plurality of tubes. Thereby, the coating film is efficiently heated and dried by concentrically radiating the near infrared rays of 3.5 &mu;m or less to the workpiece, the near infrared rays having excellent capability to cut the hydrogen bonding between the molecules, while suppressing the increase in the temperature in the furnace to prevent organic solvent vapor explosion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
