<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method in a machine tool capable of suppressing chatter vibration without reducing the rotation speed or reducing the machining allowance even when the machine tool does not have the function of continuously changing the rotation speed of a rotary shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A timing to change the rotation speed according to an instruction from an NC device 5 and a timing for a tool to cut into and retreat from a workpiece are synchronized. While the tool is retracted from the workpiece, the rotation speed is changed by one level according to a command from the NC device 5 and the tool is caused to cut into the workpiece at the timing when the rotation speed changes according to the command, and then the tool is retracted from the workpiece at the timing when the rotation speed change along with the tool's cutting into the workpiece is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
