PURPOSE: A switch control circuit, a converter using the same, and a switch control method are provided to prevent a hard switching by controlling the switching operation of the converter without a pin for a zero current detection and a separate auxiliary winding. CONSTITUTION: A converter(1) comprises a switch control circuit(2), a power switch(11), a bridge diode(12), a line filter(13), a diode(D1), a capacitor(C1), an inductor(L1), and distribution resistance(R1,R2). The power switch is composed of a NMOSFET(n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor). A body diode and a parasitic capacitor are formed between a drain electrode and a source electrode of the power switch. The bridge diode is composed of four diodes and generates an input voltage(VIN) by wave-rectifying an input current power source. A line filter(13) filters the electromagnetic wave interference of the input current power source. |
