The headlight has a reflector (24) to reflect light from a light source along and close to an optical axis. A shutter (32) includes an upper end whose edge is close to the axis. An additional reflector (34) placed between the light source and the shutter reflects the light towards a region in front of a vehicle. Another additional reflector (36) reflects the light reflected by the reflector (34) along and close to the axis.
