PURPOSE: A terminal identifier allocating method, a base station supporting the same, and a terminal in a mobile communication system are provided to allocate terminal identifiers about terminals while maintaining backward compatibility. CONSTITUTION: A processor(1210) generates an error control bit sequence for a control message. The control message includes the resource allocation information. The processor masks the error control bit sequence to a first mask. The processor masks the error control bit sequence to a second mask. The processor transmits the control message to the terminal.
