PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment film is provided to have high voltage maintaining ratio, to have low ion amount, to have low residual current, and to have excellent sensitivity of chemical changes due to light irradiation, and excellent orientation of liquid crystal molecules. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment film comprises polyamic acid or derivatives thereof obtained by reaction of tetracarboxylic dianhydride, and diamines. The tetracarboxylic dianhydride is in chemical formula 1, and the diamine comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of diamine in chemical formula N-1, and diamine in chemical formula N-2. The liquid crystal alignment agent additionally comprises at least one selected from an alkenyl-substituted nadimide compound, an epoxy compound, and a silane coupling agent.
