PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a jelly-roll type electrode assembly is provided to use plasma chemical deposition, to reduce reaction barrier for depositing inorganic compound, thereby capable of thin film coating at room temperature, and easily forming an inorganic compound thin film on a surface of a separator. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a jelly-roll type electrode assembly(200) comprises: a step of winding a laminate sheet in which a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and separators(10,20) between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate are inserted; a step of coating at least one side of the separator with inorganic compound thin film by using plasma chemical deposition. The inorganic compound is one or more kinds of mixtures selected from Al2O6, SiO2, Si3N4, and Al2(SiO3)3. The thickness of the inorganic compound thin film is 0.1 micron or more.
