FIBERWEB, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME AND FILTER HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A fiber web and a filter having the same are provided to ensure thermal resistance and strength and to remove micro pollutant particles. CONSTITUTION: A fiber web contains repeat units induced by hydroxy benzoic acid and repeat units induced by hydroxyl naphthoic acid. The fiber also contains wholly aromatic crystalline polyester resin without repeat unit induced by aromatic dicarboxylic acid. The hydroxyl benzoic acid is para hydoxy benzoic acid, 3-hydroxy benzoic acid, 2-hydroxy benzoic acid, or a combination thereof. A method for fabricating the fiber web comprises a step of electrospinning a solution containing wholly aromatic crystalline polyester resin or a step of melt-spinning the wholly aromatic crystalline polyester resin. A filter has the fiber web.
