FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air pollution control, particularly, to redirection of fluid in higher-pressure chamber in selective catalytic reduction of NOx. Proposed device comprises transverse grating made up of flat vanes arranged at angle to first direction of flow to redirect it from first direction to second direction. Said device serves to redirect fluid into angular joint between first and second section of higher-pressure chamber. Said first section directs fluid flow in flow first direction. Said second section directs fluid flow in flow second direction. Surface of aforesaid transverse grating may be adjusted relative to angular joint diagonal. Said surface is formed by grating vanes inverted streamwise. Inclination angle is measured between flow first direction and said surface. Transverse grating serves to redirect fluid flow. Proposed method comprises selecting angular joint between higher-pressure chamber first and second chambers, chamber first section to direct fluid flow in first direction and chamber second section to direct flow in second direction. Said surface is formed by grating vanes inverted streamwise. Inclination angle is measured between flow first direction and said surface. Proposed method comprises also defining vane length and adjusting vane height, pitch or angle.
