PURPOSE: A residual fuel quantity measuring device and a method thereof are provided to calculate accurate residual quantity information though the driving state of a vehicle is continuously changed by measuring real time quantity of fuel. CONSTITUTION: A residual fuel quantity measuring device comprises a residual fuel measuring unit(110), a driving information generating unit(120), a fuel consumption quantity calculating unit(130), a final residual fuel quantity calculating unit(140). The residual fuel measuring unit measures the residual fuel in a fuel storage. The driving information generating unit outputs driving information including the driving speed of a vehicle. The fuel consumption quantity calculating unit calculates and outputs fuel consumption quantity information in each determined time. The final residual fuel quantity calculating unit generates and outputs final residual fuel quantity in each determined time. |
