PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a polarizing plate is provided to improve adhesive force of a cycloolefin based resin film and a polarizer without external defects due to foreign substances or cracks. CONSTITUTION: A corona discharge treatment is executed on the surface in which a polarizer of a cycloolefin based resin film is formed. The cycloolefin based resin film is washed. The polarizer and the cycloolefin based resin film are welded with an adhesive. The cycloolefin based resin film is a transparency protective film. The transparency protective film is comprised of a thermoplastic resin in which transparency, heat stability, water barrier properties, and isotropy are excellent.
