SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE TRACKING

PURPOSE: A vehicle tracking system and method thereof are provided to write a bill which automatically reflects a stop period and a moved distance to a service call by connecting received data to the service call. CONSTITUTION: A signal which displays the location of a mobile tracking apparatus(10) is transmitted to a tracking system using a network interface(22). A computer which stores the state of each vehicle in a DB(DataBase) receives the signal using the network interface. A GPS(Global Positioning System)(26) periodically receives the GPS signal and location information. Each location is stored by connecting to time. The mobile tracking apparatus transmits location data to the tacking system by responding to the sense of an event.
