The invention relates to a modular cage structure for fattening octopuses, comprising a strong structure (1) having a straight rectangular parallelepiped shape, closed at the sides thereof by grating panels (3), or perforated plates, which enable the ingress of water and can slide in and out so as to be exchangeable during cleaning operations, such that the open top portion thereof is closed by two doors (5) made of a grating or of a perforated plate, separated by a narrow corridor (20) and comprising, at the corners thereof, some profiles (2) consisting of two perpendicular profiles with respective projections (21) visible on the inner surfaces thereof, the closing panels (3) sliding therebetween, and the ends (19) thereof serving as a limit for raising and lowering the cage, and the outer surfaces of the profiles (2) thereof being provided as a track for a rolling element (11) consisting of a rolling body (8) which comprises wheels (9) and tensioners (10) for controlling the pressure of the rolling element on the cage. |
