PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect of friction of an electric motor during engine travel without deteriorating SOC.

SOLUTION: A hybrid ECU 18 is constituted, for operating an engine 10 with the torque obtained by adding preset friction torque of an electric motor 13 corresponding to the rotation speed of an engine 10 to requested torque during the travel by the engine 10 and for performing the control so that the electric motor 13 generates the torque equivalent to the friction torque.
