<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that improves the efficiency of a connected motor while improving a power factor. <P>SOLUTION: A DC link section (3) has a capacitor (3a) connected in parallel with an output of a converter circuit (2) and outputs a pulsating DC link voltage (v<SB POS="POST">dc</SB>). An inverter circuit (4) switches and converts the output of the DC link section (3) to AC to be supplied to the connected motor (7). A control section (5) controls the switching of the inverter circuit (4) such that a motor current (iu, iv, iw) pulsates in synchronism with pulsations in a supply voltage (v<SB POS="POST">in</SB>). The control section (5) controls the switching of the inverter circuit (4) in accordance with a load on the motor (7) or the operating state of the motor (7) to reduce the pulsation amplitude of the motor current (iu, iv, iw). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
