<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently suppress higher harmonic components of an input current. <P>SOLUTION: A power converter device (1) includes a converter circuit (2), a DC link section (3) and an inverter circuit (4). The DC link section (3) has a small capacity smoothing capacitor (30). The power conversion device (1) adds up a first compensation value (i<SB POS="POST">1</SB>*) computed such that the waveform of an output current (¾i<SB POS="POST">in</SB>¾) of the converter circuit (2) becomes a full-wave-rectified waveform of a supply voltage (V<SB POS="POST">in</SB>) and a second compensation value (i<SB POS="POST">2</SB>*) computed such that the waveform of a voltage (V<SB POS="POST">dc</SB>) of the DC link section (3) becomes a full-wave-rectified waveform of the supply voltage (V<SB POS="POST">in</SB>) to compute a compensated current command value (i<SB POS="POST">comp</SB>*), and controls the output currents (i<SB POS="POST">u</SB>, i<SB POS="POST">v</SB>, i<SB POS="POST">w</SB>) of the inverter circuit (4) according to the compensated current command value (i<SB POS="POST">comp</SB>*). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
