<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run-flat tire which improves riding comfort in usual traveling without deteriorating run-flat traveling durability. <P>SOLUTION: The run-flat tire has a bead 1, a sidewall 2, and a tread 3, and includes a carcass 4 comprising one or more sheets of carcass plies extending in a toroidal form between beads to reinforce each part of them, and a side reinforcing rubber layer lunate in a cross section arranged inside the carcass in the sidewall. A carcass ply cord is a hybrid cord which is constituted by stranding filaments composed of two kinds of organic fibers, and the thermal shrinkage stress (cN/dtex) at 177°C of the hybrid cord extracted from a product tire is 0.10cN/dtex or higher, and besides, a projection 8 for the generation of a disturbance is arranged at least at one part of the surface of the tire excluding a grounding part and a contact part with a rim when the rim is mounted to the tire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
