<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable many splices to be housed inside a protector armoring a wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: A splice housing section protrudes from a bottom wall into a side space of a wire harness main passage enclosed by the bottom wall and peripheral walls of a body of a protector. The splice housing section has a U-shaped outer frame wall having opposite sidewalls and a connection wall, and an intermediate partition wall parallel to the opposite sidewalls, and also has one or more flat partition plates of insulating resin material that fit in the outer frame wall and have through holes for the intermediate partition wall. A plurality of splice housing chambers divided by vertical walls consisting of the opposite sidewalls and the intermediate partition wall of the splice housing section and horizontal walls consisting of the partition plates are defined in a plurality of horizontal stages and in a plurality of columns in each stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
