<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a liquid lens which generates a driving signal for a liquid lens so as to reduce influence of frequency response characteristics of the liquid lens, and to provide a device using the liquid lens. <P>SOLUTION: In a liquid lens 101, optical power is changed by fluctuating boundary surfaces of two liquids. In order to fluctuate the boundary surfaces, a voltage is applied with the interposition of the liquids by a driving signal of an amplitude modulation signal in which a modulation wave is superimposed on a carrier wave. The driving signal is generated by changing a modulation depth of the modulation wave with respect to change in modulation frequency so as to have a sign opposite from a gradient of change in an amplitude ratio with respect to the change in the modulation frequency of the modulation wave so that the voltage is applied with the interposition of the liquids. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
