<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven thickness of a film in a solution film forming method. <P>SOLUTION: A casting device 15 includes a casing 23. A casting band 26 is movably provided within the casing 23. By seal members 31-33, inside of the casing 23 is divided into a casting chamber 23a, a drying chamber 23b and a peeling chamber 23c sequentially from the upstream side to the downstream side in the moving direction. A casting die 40 is installed in the casting chamber 23a, and causes dope to flow out toward the casting band 26. The dope made to flow out forms a bead 42 from the casting die 40 to the casting band 26, and forms a casting film 43 on the casting band 26.
