<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of an electric motor and an insulation method of a stator coil which are strong against magnetization stress when the stator of the electric motor is used as a magnetization yoke of a rotor, and also exhibit high insulation performance at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor is configured to insulate between a coil end of a stator coil 11 and neutral point connection lines 12a by inserting a belt-like coil end insulation film 13 between a periphery of the coil end of the stator coil 11 and the multiple neutral point connection lines 12 and fixing the film 13 by a coil end binding thread 14. The stator coil 11 is fixed by the coil end binding thread 14. The coil end insulation film 13 is inserted between the periphery of the coil end of the stator coil 11 and the multiple neutral point connection lines 12 which gather at a neutral point such that the belt-like insulation film is positioned to wrap a whole or a portion of the circumference of the coil end of the stator coil 11.
