<p>1323969 Copper complex reactive monoazo dyes FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 3 Dec 1971 [7 Dec 1970] 56217/71 Heading C4P New copper complexes of reactive monoazo dyes of formula wherein X is a -SO 2 CH 2 CH 2 Z or -SO 2 CH= CH 2 group, Z being OH or a radical which can be split off by an alkaline agent are prepared by (a) coppering the appropriate monoazo dyes (b) in dyes of the above formula where Z is OH esterifying with e.g. sulphuric or phosphoric acid or (c) converting the dyes wherein Z is an acid ester group, by treatment with alkali into dyes containing the vinylsulphone group. The dyes yield blue shades by the usual reactive dyeing processes on cellulose and natural and synthetic nitrogenous fibres.</p> |
