<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head including a compact liquid jetting unit and a wiping member with improved wiping performance, and to provide a liquid jetting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid jet head includes: an ink ejecting unit 42 having a conductive nozzle forming surface 48 with a plurality of nozzles 46 opened, and liquid passages communicating with the nozzles respectively; a head case 41 to which the ink ejecting unit is joined; and a conductive cover member 22. The cover member includes a frame part 65 provided with an opening that exposes the nozzle forming surface mounted on the head case, and an abutting part 68 partially projecting toward the inside of the opening from the inner peripheral edge of the opening. The nozzle forming surface and the outer surface of the frame part are flush with each other when the cover member is mounted on the head case while the nozzle forming surface is exposed from the opening and the abutting part abuts on the nozzle forming surface to be made conductive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
