<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality in a sensor for measuring an electrical angle of a rotor for a synchronous motor while the synchronous motor is in a resting state. <P>SOLUTION: An abnormality detection device includes: a first measurement section 70 for measuring an electrical angle of a rotor for a synchronous motor 31 from output states of a plurality of Hall sensors; second measurement sections (72, 46, 48) that measure an electrical angle in a different way from the Hall sensors; and an abnormality detection section 48 that detects that the electrical angle output by the first measurement section 70 has an abnormality by estimating output states of the plurality of Hall sensors from the electrical angle measured by the second measurement sections (72, 46, 48) when the synchronous motor 31 is in a resting state and comparing the estimated result to the output states measured by the first measurement section 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
