<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device with excellent total luminous flux, and provide a light-emitting device with low power consumption in which light emission unevenness is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A lower electrode and an upper electrode, which have an organic EL layer interposed therebetween, have a light-transmitting conductive film and a light-reflecting conductive film. The light emitted from the organic EL layer in a region held between the light-transmitting conductive film of the lower electrode and the light-reflecting conductive film of the upper electrode is released to the lower electrode side selectively. The light emitted from the organic EL layer in a region held between the light-reflecting conductive film of the lower electrode and the light-transmitting conductive film of the upper electrode is released to the upper electrode side selectively. Then, the light released to the lower electrode side is extracted to the outside using a first optical structure, and the light released to the upper electrode side is extracted to the outside using a second optical structure. Since the first optical structure and the second optical structure are disposed on different planes and can be installed while they are overlapped on each other, the light released from the organic EL layer can be extracted to the outside efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
