<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method and an air conditioner capable of equalizing a temperature distribution of an entire room. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning method is provided for blowing out a conditioned air from an air outlet into a room, and also for conditioning the air in the room by taking the air in the room from an air intake, wherein a conditioned cold air is blown out from an upper part of a sidewall of the room toward a ceiling wall and the ceiling wall is cooled for air conditioning.
